Hair looks frizzy when strands stick out, usually on top but sometimes on the sides. Frizzy hair can be curly or straight, and it is usually coarse but not always. Here’s an example of frizzy hair that isn’t poofy.Poofy hair is defined by volume. Generally, it’s thick and can be curly or wavy, but not always. (My hair is poofy but fairly fine.) It tends to get “big” in wet and humid weather. It tends to form a triangle shape when it’s all the same length.

Fade haircuts usually are longer at the top and gradually become shorter on the sides and back.The Taper fade is a popular choice because it is understated and subtle where the hair gently tapers down to the neck and can be kept longer on top.
